Data Chunks#

Data Chunksカメラ機能を使用すると、補助的な画像データを生成し、取得する各画像にそのデータを追加できます。

機能を使用する#

仕組み#

データチャンクを使用すると、個々の画像取得に補足情報を追加できます。必要な補足情報が生成され、データチャンクとして画像データに追加されます。

画像データも「チャンク」と見なされます。この「画像データチャンク」は無効にできず、常にカメラによって送信される最初のチャンクとなります。1つ以上のデータチャンクが有効になっている場合、これらのチャンクはチャンク2、3などとして送信されます。

次の図は、先頭の画像データチャンクと追加されたデータチャンクを含む一連のチャンクを示しています。この例では、CRCチェックサムチャンク機能が有効になっていると想定しています。

データチャンクがコンピューターに送信されたら、データチャンクを検索して、情報を取得する必要があります。正確な手順は、お使いのカメラモデルとアプリケーションで使用するプログラミング言語によって異なります。データチャンク検索の詳細については、「pylon APIドキュメント」を参照してください。

追加メタデータ#

データチャンクの他に、カメラは、画像の高さ、画像の幅、画像ROIのオフセット、使用されているピクセルフォーマットなど、個々の画像に追加のメタデータを追加します。この情報は、pylon APIを介してグラブ結果データにアクセスすることで取得できます。

Data Chunksの有効化と取得#

1. パラメーターを ChunkModeActive parameter to true.
2. パラメーターを ChunkSelector 有効にしたいタイプのチャンクのパラメーター（（使用している場合）に設定します：
   • AutoBrightnessStatus
   • CounterValue
   • ExposureTime
   • FocusIndicator
   • Framecounter
   • FrameID
   • Gain
   • LineStatusAll
   • PayloadCRC16
   • SequenceSetIndex または SequencerSetActive
   • Timestamp
   • Triggerinputcounter
3. Enable the selected chunk by setting the ChunkEnable parameter to true.
4. 目的のチャンクごとに手順2と3を繰り返します。
5. お使いのアプリケーションにチャンク取得を実装します。

使用可能なData Chunks#

Auto Brightness Status Chunk#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効になっている場合、カメラは目標の明るさ調整のステータスを各画像に追加します。

目標の明るさ調整は、Exposure AutoまたはGain Autoオートファンクション、あるいはその両方が有効になっている場合に実行されます。

• その ace 2, boost, and dart M/R cameras, the BslChunkAutoBrightnessStatus parameter is available. It indicates the auto brightness status using the following enumeration:

  • Disabled: Target brightness adjustments are disabled, i.e., Gain Auto and Exposure Auto are set to Off.
  • TargetNotReached: Target brightness adjustments are enabled, but the target brightness value has not been reached.
  • TargetReached: Target brightness adjustments are enabled, and the target brightness value has been reached.

Counter Value Chunk#

• その ace 2, boost, and dart M/R cameras, the ChunkCounterSelector parameter is available. It allows you to choose which counter to retrieve data from. To do so, set the parameter to Counter1 または Counter2.
• 他のカメラでは、カメラは常に現在のCounter1の値を取得します。これにより、取得された画像の数がカウントされます。

Exposure Time Chunk#

このチャンクが有効な場合、カメラは画像取得に使用された露光時間を各画像に追加します。

The data chunk includes the ExposureTime and the ChunkExposureTimeSelector parameter values.

イメージ ChunkExposureTimeSelector parameter selects the exposure time to be included in the exposure time chunk.

Focus Indicator Chunk#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効になっている場合、カメラは、取得されたすべての画像のフォーカスレベルを示す値を追加します。

値の範囲は0.0～4095.0です。値が大きいほど、フォーカスのレベルが高くなります。計算は、5x5のシャープネス検出アルゴリズムに基づいて行われます。

フォーカスインジケーターチャンクの一般的な使用例としては、レンズのフォーカス中にチャンク値の変化を監視することが挙げられます。たとえば、連続的に増加した後の値が減少し始めた場合、これは適切なレベルのフォーカスに達したことを示している可能性があります。

シーンの変化（明るさの増加など）はチャンク値に影響します。したがって、チャンク値を監視しながら、ターゲットシーンが変更されないようにしてください。

フォーカスインジケーターROI#

デフォルトでは、カメラはほぼフル画像ROIを使用して焦点のレベルを計算します。

これを変更して、フォーカスのレベルの計算に使用するセンサーアレイの部分を最大2つまで指定できます。これは、Auto Function ROIの設定に似ています。2つのフォーカスインジケーターROIを使用できます。

フォーカスインジケーターROIを設定するには：

1. パラメーターを BslFocusIndicatorROISelector parameter to the desired focus indicator ROI, e.g., ROI1.
2. パラメーターを BslFocusIndicatorROIEnable parameter to true to enable the focus indicator ROI selected.
   By default, ROI 1 is enabled and ROI 2 is disabled.
3. 以下のパラメーターの値を入力し、 位置 選択したフォーカスインジケーターROIのうち、
   • AutoFunctionROIOffsetX (see note below)
   • AutoFunctionROIOffsetY
4. 以下のパラメーターの値を入力し、 サイズ 選択したフォーカスインジケーターROIのうち、

Frame Counter Chunk#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効になっている場合、カメラは取得された画像の数を各画像に追加します。

これを行うために、カメラはCounter2カウンターの現在の値を取得します。Frame Counterチャンクを持つカメラで、Counter 2は、取得された画像の数をカウントします。

カウンターを手動でリセットするには、Counter2をリセットします。

フレームIDチャンク#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効になっている場合、カメラは、露出された画像の番号を示すフレームIDを追加します。

フレームIDは0から始まり、カメラの電源がオフになるまで、公開された各画像に対して1ずつ増加し続けます。最大値は2^48です。

Gain Chunk (= GainAll Chunk)#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効な場合、カメラは、画像取得に使用されるゲインを各画像に追加します。

The data chunk includes the Gain parameter value.

Line Status All Chunk#

このチャンクが有効になっている場合、カメラは画像取得がトリガーされた瞬間にすべてのI/Oラインステータスを各画像に追加します。

The data chunk includes the LineStatusAll parameter value.

Payload CRC 16 Chunk#

このチャンクが有効になっている場合、カメラはCRC（Cyclic Redundancy Check）チェックサムを各画像に追加します。

チェックサムはX-modem方式を使用して計算され、CRCチャンク自体を除く、画像データとすべての追加チャンク（存在する場合）を含みます。

CRCチェックサムチャンクは、常に画像データに追加された最後のチャンクです。

Sequencer Set Active Chunk (= Sequence Set Index Chunk)#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効な場合、カメラは、画像取得に使用されるシーケンサーセットを各画像に追加します。

The data chunk includes the SequencerSetActive または SequenceSetIndex parameter value (depending on your camera model).

Timestamp Chunk#

このチャンクが有効になっている場合、カメラは特定のイベントの内部タイムスタンプ（ティック単位）をすべての画像に追加します。

• その ace 2, boost, and dart M/R cameras, the parameter including the timestamp is named BslChunkTimestampValue.
  Also, the BslChunkTimestampSelector parameter is available, which allows you to choose the type of event that the timestamp should refer to:

  • FrameStart: The BslChunkTimestampValue parameter indicates when acquisition of the current image started.
  • ExposureStart: The BslChunkTimestampValue parameter indicates when exposure of the current image started. On rolling shutter cameras, the parameter indicates when exposure of the first row started.
  • ExposureEnd: The BslChunkTimestampValue parameter indicates when exposure of the current image ended. On rolling shutter cameras, this parameter serves no function and is preset to 0.

• その other cameras, the parameter including the timestamp is named ChunkTimestamp. It always indicates when acquisition of the current image started.

Trigger Input Counter Chunk#

このチャンクが使用可能で有効な場合、カメラは、受信したハードウェアフレーム開始トリガー信号の数を各画像に追加します。

これを行うために、カメラは、Counter1カウンターの現在の値を取得します。Trigger Input Counterチャンクを持つカメラで、Counter1は、受信したハードウェアトリガー信号の数をカウントします。
