Fast Mode

blazeカメラで利用可能なFast Mode機能を使用すると、最大フレームレート30fpsを実現できます。ただし、これを有効にすると、測定の正確さも低下します。

仕組み

In normal operating mode, blaze cameras take eight subframes per frame (image) at different frequencies. If the FastMode parameter is enabled, only four subframes are taken. If the OperatingMode parameter is set to ShortRange, the subframes are taken at high frequencies (100 MHz). If the OperatingMode parameter is set to LongRange, the subframes are taken at low frequencies (15 MHz).

これにより、フレームレートを上げることができます。また、通常の動作モードで使用される8回の露光によって発生するモーションアーティファクトも低減します。デメリットは、生成された深度データの正確さが低下することです。これは、Long Rangeモードで作業する場合に最も顕著です。

By default, the FastMode parameter is disabled. The general recommendation is to only enable it if you require higher frame rates or you want to reduce motion artifacts.
