The pylon .NET API offers a generic, unified programming interface that hides most of the differences between interface technologies. The API allows easy migration from one camera interface to another without major code changes. As illustrated below, the API is based on the pylon C++ API.

This document is divided into three parts:  

• The Programmer's Guide is a quick guide on how to program using the pylon .NET API.
• The Classes section includes the reference documentation for the pylon .NET API.
• The Samples section illustrates common use cases when working with the pylon .NET API.
